Chinos can be both chino shorts or standard chinos trousers. Chinos are made originally from 100% cotton, but now of days they are made with a cotton blend. Chinos became popular in America after the Spanish-American soldiers returned wearing their twill military trousers. In Spring/Summer chinos are usually seen with light pastel colors, while in Fall/Winter a dark or earth tone are the typical colored chinos to be worn.
