Handcrafted footwear prouced in North India. With the use of vegetable tanned leather, it is embroidered, and embelished with brass nails, cowry shells, mirrors, bells and ceramic beads. The upper and lower part is joined together using cotton thread, strengthening the leather. Long ago itw as worn by royalty.
