Script
(1) A series of statements, written in a scripting language such as AppleScript or Perl, that instruct an application or the operating system to perform various operations. Interpreter programmes translate scripts. (2) A method for depicting words visually. Some examples of scripts are Latin, Greek, Hiragana, Katakana, and Han.
